Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE]. This is a draft — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it.
1. Who we are
CalQu ("CalQu", "we", "us") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. These Terms govern your use of the CalQu website and application (the "Service").
2. The Service
CalQu provides free trade calculators and lets registered businesses turn a calculation into a branded quotation and share it with their customers. Every business gets 10 free quotations. Additional quotations are sold in one-time packs (currently 100 quotations for ₹299) — this is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and purchased quotations do not expire.
3. Accounts
You sign in with your Google account — CalQu does not store or manage a password for you. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One Google account creates one business account on first sign-in.
4. Payments
Quotation packs are paid for via Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details — Razorpay processes payment directly. Purchased quotation credits are non-transferable between businesses and, once used, are not refundable. [Insert your actual refund/ cancellation policy here.]
5. Your content
You're responsible for the accuracy of the quotations, rates, GST details and customer information you enter. CalQu's calculators provide planning estimates, not certified measurements — always confirm final quantities on site before quoting a customer.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use CalQu to send unlawful, misleading or unsolicited content to customers, or to attempt to circumvent the quotation credit system.
7. Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (business profile, quotations, customers, followups, digital card and payment records) at any time from Settings. This is irreversible. [Note: financial/GST records may be subject to statutory retention requirements under Indian law independent of this deletion — confirm your obligations before relying on account deletion alone for compliance.]
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". CalQu is not liable for losses arising from quotations sent using the Service, including pricing errors, tax miscalculation, or reliance on calculator estimates. [Standard limitation-of-liability clause — have counsel draft the final version appropriate for your business.]
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [CITY], India.
